Alfredo Sanchis started out as a comic artist at the Valencian publishing house, later participating in the independent adventure of Creo with his younger sister María del Pilar Sanchis. In 1968 he joined the Art Studium team, dedicated to the production of childrens picture books and series for the foreign market.2 He then abandoned the medium to devote himself to watercolor.2
