Pair of Chinese candlesticks.
Bronze and porcelain.
Measurements: 21 x 30 x11 cm.
Pair of two-candle candelabra, with feet in the shape of porcelain sculptures representing plump and seated Buddhas, with the robes falling on the shoulders, exposing the protruding belly bearing good fortune. The long ear lobes, also following traditional iconography, symbolize wisdom and nobility. The arms of the chandelier simulate corsages, the leaves are forged in bronze and the roses, alternating white and red, in fine porcelain. The lampshades are also in bronze simulating a vegetable corolla.
