Description

Soviet dish; USSR, years 20-30. Glazed ceramic. Signed on the back. Measurements: 25 cm in diameter. Russian plate from the Soviet period, made around the 1920s or 1930s, in ceramic decorated with high and low temperature colors applied by hand on a white tin slip. It features a decoration of Russian folk tradition, based on large, brightly colored flowers outlined in black enamel, now combined with the hammer and sickle symbol, common in the production of Russian pottery and porcelain from the Soviet era.
